• rather better than what I expected it to be, the music is the best bit. The rest is too much of "lets do a find-edges image processing filter on a random objects demo". Still, it is not bad at all. A weak thumb up

• an oldskool design and effect intro that doesn't appeal to me the least. The sausage lattice made me hungry though...

• Fairly decent demo with plenty of different (unconnected) scenes. I liked the introduction with the gears and the bit with the mushroom.
  
  In general, the demo suffers from glow overload but I bet it looked alot better on the big screen. I can see why and how it won as it doesn't really take itself very seriously.
  
  The design and end effect have nothing to do with ASD demos and a "winning" formula (yeah there is one winning formula indeed: HARD WORK). I would say it reminded me a bit of some recent cocoon demos, only done with less attention to detail. A (weak) thumb up for me.

  First of all about the demo: unfortunately I only saw half of it (the end) and I will reserve final judgement for when I see a video of it as it doesn't run here. My opinion will probably be that is it *ok*, not as enjoyable (for me) as the mohito or even the playsycho but ok.
  
  but the guys who made it don't need any of this shit. I saw the presentation of the award and they were (like most sceners these days) honest and humble. And kudos to them. They basically said "look guys we just made an ok demo. Our first. We tried, we knew we wouldn't make it to the top; we were lucky this time - enjoy our demo as much as WE ENJOYED making it".
