Wonderful :) And how are bees made? And cars, and airplanes, and computers?
I especially like the ears. - rulezadded on the 2007-04-17 18:34:02
- demo Windows migracija by kosmoplovci [web]
- It feels like they got too much music to fill with visuals. The repetitive usage of the same scenes spoils to otherwise great atmosphere.
I am sorry for giving a piggy to kosmoplovci. - isokadded on the 2007-04-17 18:19:53
- wild Animation/Video IF by Andimation
- I really like the atmosphere. Not sure about the guitar music.

- Flash put u kosmosu [voyage in kosmos] by kosmoplovci [web]
- I love the images. I guess the opening ceremony at the gallery would have flashed me.

- 4k Windows Raving Tomatoes - FEEP! by T$ [web]
- Very funny. Laughed a lot at the compo.

- demo Windows Rhino Discharge by Brainstorm [web]
- At least we had a lot to talk at the compo. The animation!! Actually it would have been even cooler, played backwards. And you could have played with scene recycling even more.
Nice concept idea. But not radical enough.

- demo Windows Angelic Forum by ALLien Senses [web] & anadune [web]
- I second dipswitch: the reference to relaise is obvious. Guessing the insane amount of work and love invested into this production, it felt unfair to be shown that early in the compo. Nevertheless it somehow hurt how so much work just didn't get off.
Some subjective things:
++ loved the angel -- really really. Maybe the most beautiful image I took from the competition.
++ loved the lighting of the face (was it subsurface scattering?)
++ lighting of the sky/airplane scene
+ use of DOF in the beginning scene
- overall impression was too mawkish
- the direction / camera / music / message didn't get me
- the lighting / camera angles of the house scenes was weird: It somehow made it look like a small prop in an indoor studio
- the architecture behind the angle stature (Using references not only speeds things up)
Thumbs up effort and the modeling.

- demo Windows Noumenon by Andromeda [web]
- Dropping a comment without a clear memory on Nexus7 is an act of arrogance. I know. But without the association with an obvious legend, this is not a real outstanding production:
++ I loved the time scratching start
++ subtle use of tv damage effects
+ wobbling slimy things
+ perfectly designed for big screen
- effects shown too long (esp. the cubes)
- lens flares
- As a non programmer I do not get the "3d fractal thing". Aren't those just two objects being blended? It looked nice for the first few seconds, though.
Although nothing new (for me at least), definitely a great demo.

- 64k Windows Phantom Eye Syndrome by Brain Control [web]
- Wow! This a big jump for Brain Control. It rulez for sure.
Some suggestive notes:
++ hexa ball scene
+ overall look and lighting
+ syncing
+ scene linking
- Too fast & random camera movements for scenes that could have looked huge. I wonder if there wouldn't have been much more potential in some scenes.
- slightly too much love for pixel shaders (screen wobbling, emboss)
- the Y8K image overlay
- repetitive syncing
Looking forward to your demo! - rulezadded on the 2007-04-09 23:47:16
- 4k Windows sprite-o-mat by Alcatraz [web]
- After some long discussions with coders, I still think that it was really really well designed and synced. And since I am mostly a designer, look and sound is important for 4kb as well... The worthy winner.
