- demo Windows LEGO Basics by Hybris/NEMESIS
- I still don't understand why it placed 2nd (chrome/damage is A LOT better demo IMHO). Very nice code wasted in a mediocre demo.

- 64k MS-Dos Windows heaven seven by Exceed [web]
- Yeah, the raytracing engine is -at this moment- the best ever seen on an intro, BUT the rtcr is not everything. One of the things I like most is the whole ambient this one achieved to create. It's a killer, an amazing 64k size production. I agree with U2, it's magic.

- 64k MS-Dos Euskal Wars by Elerium Core [web]
- A funny original production but with spanish texts. Weird story with -intentioned- simple hand-made graphics. Nice to find this kind of prods taking into account that almost all of the releases we use to see are usually quite serious.

- demo invitation Linux Windows VIP 2 by Popsy Team [web]
- Together with last sunflower demos -wonder and tesla-, VIP2 is one of the best 3D accelerated prods made till now. It not only uses your 3D card to play pre-made scenes, but also pushes it to its limits showing more things than boring 3D cam-flying-around stuff. Really nice effects, good transitions and very dynamic.
On the negative side we have the commercial mp3 (Resurrection/Fear Factory) they used as soundtrack and some models which were ripped from Poser.
Hope to see another Popsy team demo soon, with those original ideas we see not too often and they showed us they can do. And -sorry guys :) - with an original sound track.
Despite everything, its doubtless a must-see. - isokadded on the 2000-09-15 02:13:52
- demo Windows Chanka of Time by Chanka [web]
- One of the most impressive demos of the year as far as code is concerned. It has some pretty cool features, like a skeleton animation based model (look at the warrior of the screenshot) and also some interesting physic FX. Too bad the demo has a big lack of design, but if you're one of those people interested in seeing cool 3D implementations, this demo is surely for you. Hope to see more Chanka Team prods soon.

- demo MS-Dos sexadelic by Byterapers [web]
- I can feel it baby.
I've got sex in my veins.
Now lets go make love.
(but first lets run it again). - isokadded on the 2000-09-14 20:23:23
- demo Linux MS-Dos Windows State Of Mind by Bomb
- A source of inspiration for many people, and surely it has many reasons. Continuous changes, great transitions, many many dynamism. Bomb used a very cool (existing) soundtrack for this one, I hardly got over tha. I don't think it's a definitive reason to flame THIS demo. I dislike that way of doing things, there are some other demos who used this easy way to build a mediocre demo. State of mind isn't surely one of this. Now go watch it!

- demo MS-Dos Windows moralhardcandy by blasphemy [web]
- I simply love this one. Great style, better design. Add a cool md tune for this one and you have surely one of the best pcdemos of this style ever seen. There are and will be many demos inspired by this one, I'm sure of that. A must have.

- 4k MS-Dos Despeich by Fuzzion [web]
- One of my all time favourites in 4k, absolutely brilliant. Hope to see a version featuring music some day.

Seemed to have big fun there :) - isokadded on the 2000-09-14 19:54:39
