- A very nice demo -- the first seriously nice Linux demo since 2006 actually. Could use some HDR rendering though, fades look quite washed out :)
If someone tries to run it on 64-bit Linux and gets the OSError exception when starting the demo (like nemesis did), make sure to install 32-bit compatibility libraries (ia32-libs on Ubuntu). - rulezadded on the 2011-08-07 12:12:10

- If you combine "Gamma", "Frameranger" and "ballet dancer" into a single demo and leave out any kind of soul, you get this one. IMHO this demo is a large step backwards after "Phon" and "Revolver".

- The character size is 8x8 *in Windows*, yes. But the VGA hardware generates a 9th column. Thus, the image generated from your OpenGL renderer (which is a really great idea BTW and highly appreciated!) is not identical to what you get when running the textmode version in fullscreen.

- I like Hedelmae, I love textmode demos and this demo is rock solid -> thumb of course.
