- demo Amiga AGA The Martini Effect by Flex
- This prod rules, but with 32Mb of data I'm wondering isn't this simply some kind of innovative real-time video decompression with inlined C2P on HAM8 + few simple real-time effects (2D rotation) ?
NB: No offence, I'm just asking. - rulezadded on the 2021-04-08 01:28:23

- demo Thomson In the shadow of the... Thomson by PULS [web]
- Unfortunately, there are hardly available cycles.
It might be possible to change very few byte here and there (eg: screen borders), but scrolling single text-lines requires reading and writing 640 bytes in total. Considering that a simple read-access with "LDA ,X+" costs 6 cycles, imply that we need more than 3ms to just move the data on the screen. As the CPU does all by itself, this mean that samples are stopped from being produced when screen-scrolling occurs, resulting in a noticeable click. That's not good.
If only the thomson has HW support for scrolling, it would be easier. But ATM I don't see how to do something fancier than displaying still pictures while playing music on the TO7/70. But stay tuned... Maybe the future will reveal a new trick I haven't found yet ;) - isokadded on the 2019-04-02 14:54:41
