- demo C64 DTV Ghost in the Machine by Tristar & Red Sector Inc. [web]
- Great stuff, looking forward to more DTV demos!
The only thing I don't like is that it makes my forthcoming DTV demo look bad by comparison! :) - rulezadded on the 2007-05-29 22:30:18
- demo Commodore 64 Krestage 3 - More Weird Stuff by Crest
- Yeah! Now this is the real demoscene spirit, exploring the hardware to do the impossible!

- demo Commodore 64 The Larch 3 by Bones
- Wow, this demo really was an inspiration to me (a thirteen year old kid just starting to code assembler) back then!
Love that 32-sprite-mulitplex-sideborder-DYSP! - rulezadded on the 2007-05-09 15:50:17
- demo C64 DTV Hello DTV World by Noice [web]
- Demo for the C64DTV, which is not available as a category, so I set it as wild.
You can watch a rather crappy youtube video of it here:

- wild Wild SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive sega 32x demo tape by Zyrinx & Lemon
- This is cool! Extra plus for the almost archaeological "Found on a VHS"-factor! :)

- demo Playstation Portable Suicide Barbie by The Black Lotus [web]
- The idea-borrowing doesn't bother me much, but I still think it should have been shown as a video-recording of an actual PSP running it, not some perfect-framerate video.
Shouldn't this be a common-sense rule for the wild compo - entries should be recorded running on the real hardware. If the hardware doesn't have any video output (like handhelds) well then you put the thing on a table, run the demo and videotape it. It might not look as "clean" as a frame-by-frame capture, but it gives a much more correct view of how the prod runs. - isokadded on the 2007-04-17 11:32:22
- demo Windows Noumenon by Andromeda [web]
- "bring back the only demo art - bring back for me only the old times" I recall a certain demo pleaded a while ago... ;)
Seems like Andromeda heeded that call - because this demo really is demo art of the old way, but moved into the new era with grace. For example it is great to see a demo incorporate some good 2d-pictures again, and clean, "demo-style" effects.
The only part I don't really think fit in is the black-and-white infiinte cubes part, the harsh monochrome colorscheme and overall feel of that doesn't really fit in with the other parts.
Anyway - a very good comeback demo! - rulezadded on the 2007-04-10 00:35:19
- demo Playstation Portable Suicide Barbie by The Black Lotus [web]
- Stylish as always from TBL!
I wonder how this videocap is done - I mean it's clear that it is not recorded of a real PSP running the demo, and there are to my knowledge no PSP emulators for PC... Is it possible to capture the framebuffer from a PSP and write it to the memcard frame by frame? - rulezadded on the 2007-04-09 23:41:51
- demo Commodore 64 Desert Dream by Resource [web] & Chorus
- Amazingly good conversion! Much respect for the work put into this.

- demo Windows fr-041: debris. by Farbrausch [web]
- Looked totally un-freaking-believable on the stream (that is with the right amount of blur!). A second viewing on my PC reveals that some textures etc. show kind of a procedural/generated look.
Does not change the fact that this totally rules in any way though.
Real cool coder dominance to win at the first party that has a 64Mb limit with a 177kb demo! - rulezadded on the 2007-04-09 13:28:45
