• yes, stefan really has a point there. About fonts vs speech synth: I guess everyone can draw a set of characters, or even generating them shouldn't be a problem with the tools some of us already have at hand. And most default windows fonts have been default since win95...
  But writing such a speech synth like the ms one is by far not as trivial, using it would probably be a quick way around a big problem, not to mention that it would probably get undeserved credit...
  I think this was a good idea for once, and had the right impact where it had to. I'd hate to see it becoming a trend tho...
