- demo Windows predator by mfx [web]
- Started out looking very nice for this style of demo, but it all became a little too much for me about halfway through.

- Yeah, this is a classic. Always loved that bouncing sphere with the cut away strips.

- demo Windows Digital Dynamix by Fairlight [web]
- Very nice motion. But it seems very dark. Does it disable my gamma settings or something?

- Oh my, what a postive and uplifting experience. Perhaps if I ram this thumb far enough down your throat you will regurgitate some more of thos hippy feelings.

- demo Windows ArtworkNetwork by KorsoKaratePlusPlus
- Oh my, some good stuff wasted on a poor production. (I really liked the pubic hair growing underneath the mushroom.)

- I haven't seen the demo, but this thread is very entertaining. Plek and Scali both doing their best Optimus impression!

- demo Windows A Significant Deformation Near The Cranium by Kewlers [web]
- I thought this was okay. The first bit seemed quite 'empty.' Would've liked to have seen more Dali-esque 3D.

- demo Windows Probe Industries Two Thousand by David Hasselhoff Fan Club
- Starts off as a really good 3D flyby, but ends as a really mediocre flyby. Seems to be a new group.

- 64k Windows Zoom 3 by AND [web]
- Shit, am I the only person who didn't like this?
Hard work? Sure.
Technically impressive? How the hell am I supposed to know??? I couldn't see a damn thing!
Everything was so blurry I couldn't make anything out. I rubbed my eyes, slapped the side of the monitor, stepped further back. All to no avail.
This was *FRUSTRATING* to watch. I booed it out loud. It seems as though there is a nice engine underneath, but there was too much vaseline on the lens.
The blurring was way too much. But I did get a bit of relief at the end credits where, finally, the robot was clearly visible. At any rate, frustrating. Pissed me off.
And then there's this whole external speech synthesizer thing. I didn't hear it and don't agree with using external datas. (One day someone will "compress" The Lord Of The Rings movie into a 4K intro by opening up Windows Media Player and loading a divx from some web location. After all, everyone has Windows Media Payer, and everyone has a 'net connection. 'Cept those that don't...) - sucksadded on the 2003-08-11 19:56:32
