• Actually yeah what gloom said, the fonts struck me as a poor choice. And the whole UI would be a lot easier with the default appkit stuff instead of the fancy black + white UI. It looks cooler though.

• Perhaps a "see, it's possible" 4k version plus a performance optimised version for our viewing pleasure? There's already tons of 4ks with a 'compatible' version that's bigger but actually runs :)

• Looks pretty good, sounds pretty good. Maybe a bit confusing to use, but I'm no musician and pretty much all the audio tools seem like that.
  
  Possible bug: the drums example seems to render nothing at all.

• Preview does indeed look cooler than full res. I think the motion blur type effect doesn't quite have enough quality to look good, that kind of kills it.

• Hmm.. not great, but not bad. Motivational thumb for being a firstie. Otherwise:
  
  + Effect is quite nice
  + Music is good
  + source included (not sure if that's good or not actually :D)
  + Not too long seeing as there's just the one effect
  
  - No fullscreen
  - Seems to run a bit slow and jerky, no excuse for that on this system I think.. although my mac isn't running great just now so maybe something else was causing it.
  - Only 1 effect, scroller wasn't exactly exciting to look at

  Interesting that totally different techniques can give similar results. Last time I played with that feedback + blur + sharpen effect, I ended up with something that looked like a slowly mutating 2d platformer level even.

  Btw, 350mb 640x480 vid might be much better than 350mb HD vid for this. And use h264 compression to get the best quality.

• Feedback with sharpen + blur? (Just wondering as I played with this a while back, and got similar "multiplying bacteria" effects)
