- 216: You've well showed the problem such tests have: that there is usually not only one conceivable rule. Actually the next number of any of such series could be any number, as there is always a rule that would enable any number to follow... This is also a big weakness of IQ tests. However, I know many IQ tests which don't contain any number series tasks anyway.
