- demo Windows Cobalt by 1618
- Love it! Simple idea, great and stylish execution.

- demo Windows blue impulse by Primitive [web]
- Quite good, albeit a bit short!

- demo invitation Windows Partly Cloudy by Outracks [web] & Youth Uprising & kvasigen [web]
- Great music! It looks very nice too and has good pacing, but the text boxes look horrible.

- 32k demo Atari VCS Sound Coder by Digital Sounds System
- Nice one! A better visualization wouldn't have hurt, but it broke new ground sound-wise, so thumb up!

- 4k Windows Optical Circuit by 0x4015
- I usually don't like 4k demos because most of them lack any flow or progression. This is different here, very nice! Visuals in general are good too, although this typical raymarching-y look is a bit boring. But overall solid thumb up!

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Odyssey by Alcatraz [web]
- Music was good, and the amount of effort is indeed amazing - both of which barely saves it from a thumb down. But the end product is still boring, has very bad pacing, and lots of cringeworthy moments. I didn't like it back then, I find it even worse today.

- 128b Atari VCS Call Now VCS by Tjoppen
- Oh, and there's an exclamation mark missing, but we'll kindly overlook that. :-)

- 128b Atari VCS Call Now VCS by Tjoppen
- Inevitable, wasn't it? :-)
Would have done that myself if by tomorrow nobody came forward...
Interesting that Stella fails to emulate something basic like mirrored PF correctly...? Good to know, and I wonder if different VCS behave differently here. - rulezadded on the 2015-02-18 08:10:45
- demo Windows Engine by Epoch [web]
- Oooh, I was finally able to watch this on real hardware instead of YouTube, and it was worth it! Very, very cool and intense. I can imagine how the sound might not appeal to a demoparty crowd, but here at home it was perfectly fitting to the nicely synced visuals. And I usually get irritated about too much "primitive" glitching in other demos, but this is some very cool glitching you did there!
Some minor criticism, IMHO of course:
- The strobo was annoying. In my mind, strobo never adds to any antmosphere, it's way too crude and almost always detrimental.
- After the first "wow" factor subsides, it gets more and more irritating that the object is centered only. The grid can only serve as a flimsy excuse here. ;-)
All in all a perfect "sum is greater than the individual parts" demo, I love it! - rulezadded on the 2015-02-04 21:13:30
