- Finally pulling this one out from the sneaky cdc. I remember turning 17, recently bought a laptop, and commenced forth on playing the games I'd always seen, yet couldn't play them because I didn't have the instruments to play them. Living in a country with a fucked up economy and sanctions, well, you have no choice but to turn to piracy. Of those games pirated were GTA 4. It didn't run prior to an update in I think 2018 (lol,) yet that Razor1911 launcher really took me out. I searched and searched to find similar things, and behold, I'm watching this. The first Demo Scene prod I've ever seen, though I've had heard the music from dodgy keygens years prior. Nonetheless, this one made me love the scene; found the Curio, then Pouët, and here I am commenting on it after ~9 years. And fun fact, because of the scene I wanted to pursue CS as a major, found out that I'm not that good at it and went into the theatre. Still!
I know these kinds of comments in Pouët are not typical, though living in a country at the brink of war and revolution, I'm breaking some norms.
