- 8k Windows halipleumon by Rootkids
- Crashes on Windows 7 and displays only a gradient on Windows 10 (GTX1070 on both).
Would be nice to see the YT capture.
The music is pretty though! - rulezadded on the 2018-10-27 15:45:24

- demo Windows Extrapurrestrial Impawsibility by Anatomic Kittens
- I always liked bright, pretty demos with beautiful music, and this is definitely one of those :)
It has some really visually striking scenes, especially in the beginning, though i felt that the middle part with the cogs was a little generic, as was the last part (though still pretty!).
For me the beginning felt like a cold and mysterious alien planet, and I thought that the robot was a scientific probe exploring it, but that feeling went away once it went inside - it did so with such intent and direction as if it knew what it was doing - so from that point onward it just felt like I was watching a simple machine doing its job.
And the environment inside didn't feel very alien or mysterious either - it was actually very familiar - especially the underground columns.
Finally, the ending felt incomplete and meaningless.
But the demo does have that "something" and I really like it.
Looking forward to seeing more demos from you. - rulezadded on the 2018-10-27 15:03:49
- 64k Windows Eidolon by Poo-Brain [web]
- Damn that's a long demo :P
Visually it's not as impressive as engage by Logicoma, and the performance was pretty poor (got 24FPS at 720p on a GTX970)...
But I really like that it has a story to tell, I especially liked the second part with the chase scenes, even though the were pretty slow paced, they managed to fell pretty tense - the chasing robots felt like a real danger for the little guy. And the music really helped to sell all the emotions, perfect fit IMO. - rulezadded on the 2017-04-19 18:22:22

- 64k Windows engage by Logicoma [web]
- The beginning was absolutely stunning, it looked like an intro to some sci-fi tv series, but sadly it then turned into a little more generic fast paced type of demo with massive amounts of chromatic aberration.
Still had some amazing looking scenes, and I had a pretty good chuckle at "Farbraush destroyed". - rulezadded on the 2017-04-17 22:47:40

- 4k Windows Kind of Teal by Dekadence [web]
- It's... teal.
No but seriously, it starts okay with some very bold and a little ominous music theme, but it doesn't really take the visuals anywhere, in fact as the demo progresses the visuals become less and less anything but ... teal. (Actually I think it's more blue than teal but that's beside the point :P)
It's pretty pleasant to watch though :) - rulezadded on the 2017-04-17 22:19:04
- 4k Windows re-sub by k2 [web]
- It started pretty promising, but I didn't like the direction it went.
The change in music and visuals wasn't very good, and then it went for even more weirdness and turned 3D.
So yeah, I found it rather unappealing. - sucksadded on the 2017-04-17 21:39:55
- demo Windows Intrinsic 2 by Scum Of The Earth
- Clean and elegant, I like it.
Loved the subtle ambient occlusion, and the film grain, it would look too sterile without that.
I especially liked the way the camera rotates as it goes through the doorway - gives it a very zero-g feel. And I love how realistic the scene is once the camera passes the doorway - the spheres look amazing there. - rulezadded on the 2017-04-17 21:29:26
