- 32k demo Atari VCS Triplet by Otomata Labs [web]
- This really sets the bar for what is possible on the VCS; if not technically (I can't fully judge this), then at least design-wise. It's impressive how much stuff has been crammed into those 32k bytes!

- demo Windows Razor1911 by Razor 1911 [web]
- A masterclass in how to make a retro-styled demo without becoming overly cheesy. Also, people will be framestepping the heck out of this to catch all the little references and easter eggs :)

- demo Windows Golden Egg by Gaspode
- All my life I thought "those Bond intros look quite demoish; I wonder when somebody does a demo that pays homage to them." This day has finally come, and the result is everything I imagined it to be.

- 4k Windows Mirrors 4k by Arctic Robots [web]
- The visuals are a bit on the busy side, but I for one actually like the music. It's so calm and soothing, and it perfectly transfers this mood to the audience: Both times the intro has been played at the party, the room was instantly filled with silent suspense. I can't remember many prods that had such an effect on a 100+-people crowd.

- demo Windows Vernal Festival by Limp Ninja [web]
- This is probably the most realistic fake VHS glitch effect I've seen so far, and I love the period-appropriate font too.

- demotool Linux Windows TrackMeister by Top Right Bottom Left [web]
- A little Christmas present for party organizers: A MOD/XM/IT/etc player meant for presenting compos. Made for fullscreen, with metadata display, pattern visualization etc. Based on libopenmpt, so it should play everything you could throw at it without glitches. Has built-in support for ReplayGain 2.0 (EBU R128) loudness normalization, and lots of customization options.

- musicdisk ZX Spectrum Ear Shaver by Shiru
- Absolutely fantastic. Sometimes you really forget that this is not an AY or any other soundchip.

- demo invitation Windows JavaScript Are you ready? by Danish Underpants Brigade & Ctrl-Alt-Elite
- Pretty much nails the ca. 1995 Scooter music style :) There's not much of value to see here though. And it bugs me to no end that the lyrics can't decide whether we're "back to the E-Werk" or "back in the E-Werk".

- demo Windows JavaScript Tigris by mfx [web]
- Quote:
The technical part is issuing me: a 100 megs EXE?
If particles are made in GPU code, why the huge size?
Because it's a WebGL demo, and it ships with Electron, which in turn is basically a whole Chromium webbrowser without the UI. The demo itself lives in the /resources/app subdirectory and is 17 MB, with the music alone taking up almost 10 MB. - isokadded on the 2023-01-27 22:00:14
