- 4k Amiga AGA Urine by 3 Amigos
- There's some story in here which I guess deserves to be documented somewhere; this is actually a remix of Dust from Euskal two years prior.
“3 Amigos” basically sent one person (I have no idea what his name/handle was, but IIRC he spoke Norwegian) in on a day ticket to TG01 to try to sweep the Amiga compos, which at the time still had some pretty serious prize money, and very nearly succeeded; Leia tipped off the democrew to the extreme similarities, and there was a very public disqualification/banning on stage during the prize ceremony.
Everyone at the time assumed it was a rip/hack of some sort; the two intros are so similar that when they intended to play the Urine on the stage while interviewing the 3 Amigos member (“what are we seeing here?”), they inadvertently played Dust instead and the 3 Amigos guy didn't even notice himself. Later it came out that Exploder, the original coder, seems to have been one of the 3 Amigos and just did a huge effect-recycle. :-) Although I think they claimed that Urine had different music and “18-bit AGA color” (I suppose this means HAM8 mode?) and Dust didn't.
I think in the end, they actually got some of their prize money a while later (which they seemingly wanted to invest into making an Amiga car game), rebranded to Push Entertainment and were unbanned, and then I believe they pulled the same effect-recycling stunt the following year again. :-) - isokadded on the 2026-02-22 14:08:23
- demo PICO-8 modulator by konsumer [web]
- Really lives and dies by its sync. Thankfully, it's spot-on.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Bacon of Hope by Desire [web]
- I'm usually not the one for 11-minute oldschool prods, but this surely is worth a thumb. Great show in both eyes and ears.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Blastromiga
- The concept is nice, but I think the execution could use some love. In particular, the coder colors make for a pretty garish contrast (e.g., the initial typography), a lot of the effects are strangely slow, and the polygon ordering appears to be buggy. Music is not bad, though.

- demo Windows Zeroed by Satori [web]
- As expected, the YouTube video did not do this one justice, but it ran fine even on my low-powered laptop, I guess due to software rendering (which suits Satori's style well). No idea where that gigabyte went, though :-)

- demo Windows Alternate Tone by Still [web]
- I'm a bit torn on this one. Even though I can appreciate the style and enjoy confetti as much as everyone else, I just ended up feeling a bit… bored? Like, everything is drawn out twice as long as it should be. I don't know. It's not a bad demo by any means.

- demo Windows The outer darkness by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- I dug out the capture code I wrote for Sisyphus and made a better video. (Mostly easy enough to adjust, but that ever-increasing Sleep() call in DecodeMesh(), Navis…) Play with hardware acceleration unless you love lost frames :-)

- demo Windows The outer darkness by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Mesmerizing and a bit creepy. Unfortunately, the YouTube compression hugs it to death.

- The lighting is state of the art. The rest is kind of meh, to be honest :-)
