• I don't write reviews often here.
  I watched it live yesterday and then again just now before hte prizegiving. Both times I had tears in my eyes.
  
  I have coded demos, far from this caliber, and I know how how much work it is. This is astounding from the first to the last frame! There's details that appear 0.3 sec on screen that must have taked ages to make just right.
  
  This demo is of the kind that made me love demos back in the eighties.

• i was at that party when it was displayed on the big sceen. actually i remember it bacause it was my first party and Pib had been very friendly and had sent me the final version by snail mail with big graffitis on the floppy i had given to him.
  
  this was a demo coded in Amos i think and the result is nice. no wonderful effects, but hte style is here.

  the design was imagined by me: i was putting some basic shapes in a scene, then i animated them randomly, tested, and when it was wizzy enough, i was keeping it...did this 8 times for the 8 effects!
  
  it must be fixed in many ways to get speed and esthetic, and loose size. there will be probably a fix soon.

• Hey we didn't want to do some technical achievement... That was meant to make you laugh... That's just the result of a delirium that begun around a table in a pub in London... as for the code: right (ça rame) but if i had known DirectDraw doesn't accept blending when i begun, i wouldn't have had to code a soft alpha blitter in a hurry.
  Anyway Danube is THE master graphician that made it possible! Thank him.
