something is messed with the pouet db. I posted two images, and they appear under a different name - I tested the old TridentVGA on AMDK6-500. Yeah,. if the gfxcard is slow, it doesn't matter the machine. It still outputs less than 1 frame and at least 100 times slower than if I output outside the Vram!

If it outputs less than 1 frame you won't see anything :) - When I say 1frame, I am talking in Amiga/C64 sceners language. 1 frame is more than 70fps. 2frames is 35-70fps, e.t.c.. It means how much frames does the monitor refreshes till you calculate and output your effect..

i don't think he is. if one has video bandwidth of 1,5 mb/s there's little to do besides unchaining or going 16color. - that said, "less than 1 frame" would indicate that your effect runs > 70 fps :)
