hahaha, reminds me of a living room i entered once. first i noticed was a high pitch noise caused by all the electronics dumped there. unbelievable people stand this noise all days long (without noticing?).. -

keith303: probably the best solution is to buy an el'cheapo external USB soundcard (i think you can find one for around 20€). Other thing: ground loops... as a start try to lift your laptp's ground http://www.rane.com/note110.html . -
