Thanks! It's a kids toy that my son was given. I found out people had figured how to jailbreak it so I thought it would be perfect to hack around on! It actually has a (not very powerful) GPU but I didn't use it - the demo is pure framebuffer. I also used an 8-bit framebuffer although the device supports 24-bit colour. I like the crunched down colours aesthetic :)
