This is a visualization of all public transport in the Helsinki capital region. Making it involved recording the public position data provided by HSL for 24 hours, cleaning and optimising the data, turning it into gpx files, and writing a custom version of Route Squiggler's video renderer that could handle such a large amount.

Tomkh: there should be a second ferry line too, actually! (17) :) I only noticed because I used to take it to the city. Either those boats don't have tracking or there was some exception that day.
hot multimedia: my software creates video files and isn't designed for live tracking. But some entirely different software could do it - the data is public and updates every few seconds.
