It was really cool but I still don't know how to judge any MacOS demo on a technical level.

It was a bit small, but I liked the smooth spherical map and the scene with the textured eye, the music was also chill

Very nice production, the eye scene looks impressive. I seem to remember the beamslide said something about a new synth or track player, but I can't find it back... But the music is pleasantly chill!

Very atmospheric.
Thank you for supporting the Mac scene!

Acceptance by Breeze, aside from having very tasteful audiovisuals, implements a lot of extremely lowlevel firsts that will be missed by demosceners outside of a nearly nonexistent very small group of Mac game and demo coders from mid 1990s.

The Performa 5200 is somewhere between 486 and very early Pentiums (think 60MHz Pentium), but only if you:
- equip the x86 with the weakest possible barely working VGA adapter with super slow and small framebuffer.
- hugely underperforming bus
- run an OS on top that works extremely hard to *not* give you supervisor level access
- have close to zero low level hardware or OS documentation.

To "win" over this machine, you need to know 68k assembly, PowerPC assembly and literally take the machine apart and study the motherboard.

A simple thing, such as installing a VBL interrupt that actually gets executed on time with no latency requires literally hacking the OS nanokernel, reverse engineering native video drivers and likely jumping through a layer of Motorola 68000 emulation.

You do all this, then you do the effects and 3d engine that are heavily optimized for the particular instance of PowerPC 603 in this machine and L1/L2 cache and bus speed and then you put some real effort in design.

Oh, by the way, then you invent a custom synth and get that in too.

Epic effort that is likely to go unnoticed by many sceners.
