Not much of a demo... more a text mode animation player. Showing a jerky spinning cube. But i guess if its a first prod made cause you're bored...

I tried nehe, not very good. Didnt explain the code at all well.
Instead im cheating and using a wrapper around DX that i happen to know very well. It alows for per-poly positioning so expect some pretty funky stuff ;)

there's a good text-mode graphics library out there, if you really have a boner for textmode: TextFX4, get it here: http://sol.planet-d.net/code.html and if you can't understand NeHe you need to go back to school...

However,. there is a reason for someone not understanding NeHe. I do understand the basic OpenGL parts, you don't even need to know maths. BUT,. I can't say that I understood everything about the framework of the first lesson which is also too big to read. That's because I don't know that much things about C++ and OOP. But since most people copy-paste the code from the first lesson as it is and write their effects in OpenGL which is more clear, I did the same and never complained that it is too hard to understand. But I can say that I didn't understood anything because C++/OOP is a bitch anyways but who cares. You are not supposed to understand, just use it as it is they say, blah I am going back to Quickbasic :P

the NeHe tutorial sucks like all other tutorials. books suck too, probably, although i haven't seen any :) - get the specs and be happy.

Made an animated cube in MS3D and Photopaint, changed to B&W, wrote a VB program to generate the Turbo Pascal code, pasted, tested, compressed, uploaded, tada :)
Ps: First ever uploaded dem/intro :) Will get onto the proper stuff when i get a decent book on OpenGL
