You're gonna want to download it from one of the mirrors (under the d/l link). Freewebs is extremely slow. :D Thanks!

7,6megs at 1kb/s = ~2 hours of download.

None of the mirrors knows about this file (as expected).

Got a MAV before it crashed. :( So I don't know if I saw most of it or not.

For faster download do the following... Right click on download link, Go to properties, Highlight and Copy the url address, Close your browser completely re-open IE or netscape and paste hit go and your on your way.

Excellent Demo Excellent Musik, No defects

download link doesn't work for me at all. And i'm not closing down browsers and opening IE for it.. how about a better link?

First of all, get a better host
That said, I like it a lot. The beginning is a bit boring, but the first "real" demo scenes really make it up to it, I especially like the smokey trails. And as for your future productions, the demoscene custom is that esc = exit and spacebar = next part :)

Music is kinda cute, colors are übercrap, and... eh, I have to switch scenes myself, it's windowed and changes windowssize between scenes?

Not teh rulez!

Thanks for the kind (and unkind... well constructive critism) words!
This is my first demo, so its not the best.

And hornet: you dont have to switch scenes, it does it after a while. It is aligned with the music so it will stop together. I just notied that it changed from 600,800 to 640,480. I used that mode while programming it, and I forgot to change it back! :P

theduck: Ah ok, if this is your first demo it's nice. But I really don't like this thing about separate a demo in part, and i hate to need press a key to jump between part. I wait your next prod !

Gave me a nice MAV error after when i pressed esc at the skulls scene.

As for the demo: some nice ideas in there, and of the effects are nice, but it needs design, a fullscreen option, esc to quit, and maybe some sync would be good. Personally, i recommend getting a designer to put it all together nicely. I'm interested to see what you can follow that up with :)

This is good. I agree with the interface comments - the demo should run in fullscreen mode and switch effects automatically after a reasonable time (10-30 seconds, usually). Besides these problems, the demo has some good-looking effects and nice trancey music. If the interface were more demo-like this would definitely get a thumbs up!

this is a great first prod. i think these guys will be people to watch in the future. and for those of you kvetching about having to press a key to move between parts, may i remind you that ALL demos were once like that...

Thanks guys! I've started work on my new demo, entitled the #Q-BUH.retro.2k5 Demo. It is a retro like 2D demo with alpha bending, 3d objects, 3d starfields, scrolling bitmap fonts, and all the stuff that made old school demos so cool (Or not cool, if that is your crazy weird thought).

the idea of several windows that appear when you press escape is... funny / bad / good / stupid / cool... i don't know... but the access memory violation at the end is really bad, that's sure ;))
