some nice effects, and a few terrible ones. all too familiar music, and when sidcompo 4 can get 32 tunes, then surely smash designs should be able to get some exclusive music aswell? but all in all a quite good aeg demo in his typical style

fucking terrible. it just wouldn't stop. and every next scene was even uglier than the previous. and just when you thought it really couldn't go any worse, stuff became even *more* ugly!

Another demo by Smash Designs, so we all know what to expect: a small number of nice parts, a great number of ugly parts, quite a few old parts.

I agree with britelite. Tho the X rotator was very nice.

Recycling is good for the enviroment, but AEG is being too much of a freaking treehugger when it comes to these C64 demos of his. The single effect that may be considered new-ish was sandwiched in the same old bullshit -over and over again. Underwhelming and ugly.

Also, wtf was that crap with the sound init that had to be "amended" on screen? :)

Aw, it still cranked.
okay demo, nothing mindblowing, re-used tunes, not really worth transferring to the real thing. the mirror thing was nice, though, still not awesome.

Not superspecial, but definitely a quality release from AEG and the guys.

All your demos are a little bit too monumental AEG. You should try something shorter and with higher speed. Anyway this was still a good one!

More pixel effects this time, shadow vector objects and the city rules, static mapped scroller upon animated objects is really cool and inspiring idea. I mostly love the X-rotator, the smoothest I have ever seen. And then reused music and a bunch of older 4*4 effects. Cool AEG demo!

Unless it's animation.

good one, if the slow parts (like the rotating cubes) were cut off it would be great :)

The realtime rendering and mirror part shows its still possible to do new tricks on a 20 year old box. Nice !
