I wonder why this didn't compete at a party, because textured vectors were hot in late 1991 :-)

The tune is great. Also some nice effects in this one (eg. mapping of picture on waved surface).

I can remember this one. Nice to watch it again. Rob Rose knew to persuade the Amiga to produce appealing output. In particular, I like the "raster electron microscope" part and the "sphere" at the end. Of course, I also do appreciate the texture mapped 3D cube and the idea of having engaged the Blitter. But it does have some flaws. (In order to brag a little ...) I coded such a texture mapped 3D cube (processor based) myself almost 30 years ago, but like the one from Brainstrom it neither had a perspective nor was it running at a decent speed in comparison to Buddha's or Musashi's; I was not aware of Bresenham's line drawing algorithm at that time - not to mention the improved versions thereof. Maybe the usage of a larger sinus table with 1/4deg steps would have compensated and hushed up that a bit. Moreover, the cube revealed what I call "pixel gaps" (= left out pixels in between) at certain angles, probably due to rounding errors. Hence, I never felt the urge to release it. But now I disgress a bit and come astray - sorry for that!
Despite those minor points of criticism, Blitter Miracle is a true milestone and big thumbs up for Rob Rose's brainstorming idea and pioneering realization of a texture mapped 3D cube.
