Looks like crap on XP, but I trust the screenshot, and also, a 512b with music probably deserves a thump.

Watch this intro longer than 5 seconds. It looks the same in DOS and XP, but under DOS has cool (right) speed, so is really more impressive there. A bit dirty stuff.

Maybe it's the fault of my crappy computer, but for me it's a cyan colored screen with only vertical stripes. On another computer it looks a little better. (Black BG, some hsync palette action) but still nothing like the screenshot.

Nitro, effect is well known: Interference, but after watching this one over 1 minute under DOS I've noticed it's pretty cool, even Sierpinski triangle stuff appears.

Pirx: If I had a camera and could take a picture of what my screen looks like, I'm sure you'd agree that something is bugging out on my computers.
You must think I'm stupid just because you don't have the same error and think I'm complaining about the actual effect.

This is a simple photoshop simulation of the error I'm experiencing, based on the submitted screenshot.

The renderred graphics are only visible in tiny vertical bars, which are moving, and the palette is all crazy. Now don't tell me that's how it's supposed to look?
(I can add that Interference renders correctly on my computer as far as I can tell)

Nice. The "glitches" are design. Wait a while.

Pirx: Ok, I was impatient. The wait was rather 50 seconds than 5. But I'll take this baby for a spin on a 486 with actual DOS, and see how it works out.

After a while it is much better than the beginning, but still very unpolished prod, and I don't see a reason to add a sound here, it would be much better without it.

I never thought that the bars is a bug rather than some kind of design that I didn't enjoyed much. What's really the difference in DOS? I thought it was working right on my XP. Maybe I'll try tomorrow. The effect is simple and I don't like the pallete. I haven't heared the music, but a tiny intro with music is a great thing, so overall I'll place a thumb up even if I didn't enjoyed it much as the other entries.
