Some nice blobs, eating each other, come together on changing the modifying Bytes at $0843-$0846. But I won't bore you ;) You can control the Bytes on the Bus by the changing the screencontent... but it takes some time to use this for serious effects (f.e. timing the Vic with his own content). Just an idea.

so you read out $de00 -> the value read will be DATA.
Then you write DATA directly to the Volume register.
Finally you throw the MSB into the Carry, and DATA becomes DATA | 0x7f, which you then write into colram.
I kinda don't understand the sence of it ... but it looks weird enough ;)

Heul doch!

If your screen is build in a consistent way, the badlinedata is nearly repeating, so you can use this for sinus-like waveforms (which is nothing more than repeating data with some algorithm). The next step could be to *change* this ScreenData in the right way for doing something more interesting. The sound is just fake, but noise is better than nothing... even open borders started as $d016 Crapdata ;)

New Link: http://csdb.dk/release/download.php?id=94978 Is there anyone out there on pouet reading mails? No one ever answered on my hints on broken links. ;(

I like this for the fact that i was experimenting with the same data. I might add as a hint that it is possible to sync the "noise", if you adjust the "line" length and couple it to obvious timers and stuff. But i personally gave it up when exceeding 128 bytes. So: very nice :-)
