This is my contribution for the 64k compo at Euskal 18.

:)

It may not work properly on some ATI cards.

WinXP SP3, GF9800GT.

None of the supplied batch files work, and running the exe directly sends for Dr Watson.

You're getting better with every new intro.

Unlike Navis demo, this one didn't work with Wine... In fact it made me restart the system :/

Video?

Now that I've seen the video... I'm curious, how do you do the animations? The are very specific movements that I always though it was because Amiga limitations, but here they look the same... ?

Rather boring indeed. Pretty uninspired object show.

all the letterbox 16:9 batch files result in the screen still being my native res (1680x1050) but the demo running smallish in some corner or anywhere on the screen and not centered or something.
running the exe without batch files works better for me (no idea what res it is then, tho).

well nothing spectacular the music is too minimalistic for my taste and the visuals remind me of 100 other prods. still i respect the work gone into this so i wont thumb it down.

Ran OK but I got a flickering picture-in-picture in the bottom left of the screen. Not sure why that was there. Ati 5870. Doesn't look as virbrant as the screenshot so I guess the PiP is some sort of overlay thats not working properly.

Nice 1mp.

I am not sure if I get what is there on the screenshot. I got some endless rotating thing like these meshes there, more faint in color, with some rotating b&w artifacts but no progression so I pressed esc. And music, nothing heared. I will try later or wait for the video.

Thanks for your comments so far.

Please, do not try the batch files unless you want to choose a resolution smaller than your desktop resolution. If everything goes fine, the intro will detect the dimensions of your desktop screen and then will try to adapt to it itself. I did those batch files just in case somebody need to use another resolution.

If you see objects rotating in front of a totally black background, then you need to check the video cause the background should not be a completely black screen (see the screenshot for an example of proper background).

I'll try to fix this issue but I cannot promise a fixed version soon. I'm sorry about that.

The shader for the background effect do raycasting into a mandelbox set and that's the reason why I didn't try to fix it at Euskal, a noisy place where I will always try to avoid partycoding.

One more thing... the music is just an XM file. So I only use synths for make the samples that, by the way, are all 8bit samples except two of them.
