It was only a matter of time until we'd see something from frag on Windows.
Didn't work on ATI here, though.
Props for releasing the source!

Huh? Even the core features fail on ATI - how come? Anybody can point out the problem or is it just ATI cancer?

looks good

Mind you, it's not even working on Intel integrated graphics here, so I doubt it's the fault of Lenovo's often outdated drivers (for once).
works fine on ATI HD 6850 too, with 04/12 Catalyst

Looking good. If you have so much space left, why not include a resolution selector?

Nice, there is code provided too!

It's not moving. But I like it.
Interesting way of using indentations in code. Loge time ago I was using same once as you are. :)

Yeah, BB Image procedural graphics are too static :p

Closer inspection reveals that the problem is at least in using textures of size SCREENX by SCREENY which are not power of 2. So "OpenGL 1.1, no extensions" is not true. It should require either OpenGL 2.0+ or extension ARB_texture_non_power_of_two. So, ATI is not that cancer after all.
added on the 2012-06-18 22:35:03 by fish fish
Can I suggest that maybe it is the use of GL_RGB and not GL_RGB32F for the internal format of TexImage2D that can cause problems? I think missing this makes some drivers get stroppy - and actually I think it requires an ARB extension also, but I'm not certain.

what xtr1m said + AWESOME! :D

Hi!
The goal was to use only dinosaur technologies =)
Sorry for the super-ugly non-power-of-2 textures.
Should use proper extension or render to texture of course.
Or render intermediate picture to viewport(1024, 1024).
Surprisingly all NV cards i have can bear this
(i think through 2048x2048 texture generation).
Probably will patch it someday.
In fact OpenGL was used only for texturing and lighting,
all can be easily done in pure software mode.
