The old Shock! demos were really freat, especially the music. Watched them rather often some time ago, but today it is a bit uncomfortable to do since the demos require plain DOS...

This is one of the early "techno-demos" where trippy-looking 2d effects were synched to every pattern, with some semi-complex 3d objects thrown in (I kinda like the balls on the sliding platform). The title is a blatant ripoff. :) The music is a matter of taste, it's stripped down boom-chi-boom-chi. I somehow managed to get this working on my Athlon, with SDD loaded on a GeForce!, although I had to sacrifice some good pics by Das.

If you have a 486, try the turbo switch. :)

One of the best Shock demos from this time.

There is a bug with the graphics at least in my computer. After the high res logo/gfx, the normal res effects are all shown in 2 small bugged windows upon the old graphics. It's like it outputted in the vram, forgetting to change first from high to low res. Don't know why. Can't watch it but it rules. Especially that highres gfx!

Thoroughly managed to screw up dosbox with the videomode, but was still viewable. Not really my taste (the music especially), but there's something appealing about the effects and rendering... must be the weird screenmodes.

this was the real bitch to run (don't forget to load univbe or else you will get some glitchy two screens under 640x480), but S3 again ownz! :)
although music is not in my taste, but graphics and trippy tunnels\twirls are in :)
