if it's getting stuck on this screen in the CD image format, that means mame/mess is not correctly emulating the CD-ROM controller! unlike most homebrew that came before it, i am *not* using the proprietary library code to talk to it, and so many emulators which were only tested with it have issues. the emulators i recommend for running fromage are, in order of preference: duckstation, mednafen, xebra.
