Absolutely love the rendering, the direction (the spinning vinyl!) and the content. The filter makes it.
Technically impressive and i really loved the show :) that dither pattern is a cool idea, even though it looked like very heavy compression artefacts and felt like an anim player in 8k during the compo. But even that would've been impressive.

what gargaj said, bit of an assault on senses, and the repeating ultrawide angle camera movement lerps don't help. also not a fan of the artifacts caused by the sampling pattern at all. a decent coding showcase, but doesn't work for me as a demo

- It's realtime path traced, with animated SDFs, motion blur and DoF
- The weird dither is an acceleration technique. This is replaces the noise you'd normally see, but runs 20-40% faster (and imo it looks better too :)
- It runs on both intel and arm, and is heavily optimised for M1 (since that's what I made most of it on), run it on Medium quality on that hardware
- It's a bit unfinished - I moved house in the last week and had no computer for most of the week
- Colours are broken in the party version and it requires Big Sur
Party version capture
