should add some info. This is showing off some of the "double" modes available on later Apple II models (the IIe, IIc, Iigs). This includes double-hires (140x192x15 colors), double-lores (80x48x15 colors), 80-column text, and a few other weirder things. The extra trickery here is it's detecting the VBLANK (IIe, IIc, and IIgs have mutually incompatible ways of doing this) and doing some mid-screen mode switching.
I made this at the request of an emulator author, as there wasn't any sample code out there doing mid-screen switches in the double modes. This does break various emulators (MAME especially) but AppleWin does a decent job. I had already released this to the public, and also some of the resources (especially ths music, which is from FF7) aren't fully original so that's why I didn't release it at a party.
