damn cool intro! and sound samples' quality is ridiculously high! if u generate them inside of yr intro it's very impressive and i'd like to hear several words about how u achieved it and what software u used (or to read an article or two). it might be just me but it seems like the best sound in 64k i've heard so far... keep up the good work

Rendering is clean and stylish all the way, the overall finish looks really good.
Excellent sound, although the soundtrack could have benefited from being more coherent. The effect with the dubstep wobble and synchronized "oscilloscope" is great!

@dixan: Haha, please compare with our intro "Reintroduction" from solskogen 2010 ;-) But you're right though, it was horribly rushed.

@RRROAR: I wrote the synth, and we generate all sounds from scratch. The synth is actually not targeted at 64k intros or 32k exe music; it will be released as a VST plugin within the next couple of months. So we don't compromise sound quality for size (and nor, to a lesser degree, speed). Which is why the synth accounts for 50% of the file size and 95% of the precalc time ;-) Now, that's a tradeoff that works for us because we're comparatively lame on the visual side. Other groups may not be willing to make that tradeoff, and it will probably be a problem for us eventually. If you (or anyone else) want to look at the VST for inspiration, send an email to quiver-notify*deadfeed.net, and I'll send you a link back when it's released. And thanks! I'm not sure I agree 100%, considering e.g. Ino by Quite.

@cheesytbc: Faktisk tror jeg det var mig der kendte dig først!

@dwarf: That's high praise, and I'm really glad you liked it - I had you in mind while designing the end part of the intro. And also when I asked Punqtured to please make the dubstep more evil :-)

Also, we forgot this note in the nfo file due to the beginning stages of intoxication: End part was heavily inspired by this video (which is pretty fucking awesome): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxN6ZniNsMA

Also x 2: Surprised not to have heard this comment yet: "Too much glow!"

You already know my thoughts, but I feel like I should express them again; Great effects. Especially loved the tunnel and oscilloscope style wobble scene. hArDy: Not the worst of groups to be accused of being ;-) Really, Fnuque's Fnuque. But as bstrr points out, we're close friends with both Loonies', TBC, DUB and pretty much all danish groups. The rest of you, we just LOOOVE :-)

The confusion might be because we have no website or stuff, but the memberlist currently counts:

hund. (Code)
Revival (Code)
Frederik/Presence (Code)
Puntqured (Music)
Swaxi (Music, when active)
Fairart (Code/Moral Support)

Neither of us are members of any other groups, albeit Frederik do appear as coder in some depth productions.

We pooled our resources and put an ATI machine together, just to give you the ATI fix, which is now available at the download link!

Lessons learned:
- Don't overflow the GL matrix stack (whoops)
- "vec4 someVector;" will not be zero initialized on ATI
- if you intend to use GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR filtering on a texture, make sure that you don't set GL_LINEAR on it first. That will crash on ATI. (Or set it before rendering to it using a FBO? not sure)
- Predecrementing a vec4 apparently doesn't work on ATI (as in "vec4 someVec(0.0); --someVec;")

Also included: Better texture filtering.

Not fixed: The timing problem described by hArDy. Also, some overlay textures are still too low resolution. Sorry.
