Very liked it. Even if there were some WTF moments about the content, but I like it anyway and the whole ASD style, it's just awesome. Also the style used from older demos, also a lot of objects and stuff that brought memories back about older demos like Midnight run etc. Ohh this was really 16 years ago ?

Well, OK, this was unexpected. At least ASD is never afraid of doing things different—to begin with, I wondered if this was a joke prod or something, but it seems to be quite serious, and I'm sure there's symbolism in there again that I don't quite get. It doesn't quite move me, though, and I found myself a bit… bored?
Also, I am at a loss as of why this recommends a RTX 3000-series GPU. Am I missing some fancy stuff in the background?

@sesse this, most probably, has been forgotten in the nfo file from our previous demo. It runs pretty smooth at 1080p on my tired old 1060.
And (navis correct me if I’m wrong) but the seemingly 2d renders of Sisyphus and Merope actors are still in 3d.

Already thumbed up above. I can confirm: Smooth and no problems with my 5 year old PC with GTX 1080 card.
Gorgeous style and beautifully polished as usual
generally speaking the demo is quite lightweight. The shaders do a few things like tesselation, "cutout" shading (which is a large convolution thingie), shadow mapping and some color correction. And rendering of the 3d models. I can get 150fps+ at 1440 almost everywhere on my 3070 - the info says 3000 because I dont think I have something smaller to test :-)

While this is not exactly up my alley it's consistent and tons of stuff going on.

but it doesn't go anywhere, it outlives its welcome at half the runtime, and the music and visual feel completely disconnected, so.. as a piece of motion graphics i cant say it works. needed a stronger creative direction to pull it off.

Too kitsch for my taste. Since this demo is all about the aesthetics and story that means I couldn't understand it, sorry.
Didn't really seem to have much direction or evolution and felt longer than it really was... but it's great to see this side of ASD again. I enjoyed the unique style and all the references

I really love this! I'm a big fan of the 2D ASD style in demos! I had a friend here in Greece, who was queer and the things he told me about what he had been through and how he felt over the years about his peculiarity, reminded me a lot of what we see throughout this demo.. One thing is for certain, Sisyphus has been through, A LOT! :)
The problem is, by the time the vocals arrive, the visuals have shown all the ideas they have, and the rest just repeats, and it never really acknowledges the music (very prominently at the ending); musically I like the 90s progrock tone, the guitar actually sits rather well in the mix this time, but the vocal doesn't, and the lyrics were clearly written by someone who didn't think about someone having to sing it later - words like "deflection" or "attrition" are hard enough to say without having to follow a rhythm or cadence.

Everything was okay until the vocals started. For me, this has been the issue with several ASD soundtracks even previously, but this is even worse.

The first watch was the hardest one and the experience was a bit negative. However, after a few watches my rating is converging to thumb up.
fantastic 2d style and a lot of things thrown in. maybe too many. but that excessive visual ride is something one might expect from an asd demo when looking back at the cataloque. the music is nice but overall it feels like something is missing even tho i don't know what it is. i'll pigg it i guess. but it is a golden piggie close to a thumbs up :D
