texel: So, gata means the same in greek as in spanish. The male cat is gatos and the female gata. It's just that 'gata' is greeklish and instead of 'g' their is a gamma which is pronounced diferrent than the latin 'g'. Pouet must not take greek fonts I think. Or not? ÃÜôá.

About the male cat is on "gato" in Spanish. "Gatos" in Spanish means male cats (plural). I've remember that Gata Kamsky is a Grandmaster chess player, very famous. And well, I think this thread could be nominated as more weird than the redrichards ones XD.
