TomCat: Well, we are both right and wrong. I mixed up the quotes, the C64 reference is in my own version in my Oric demo for the STNICCC 2000. The original was effectively refering to the Amiga, but it was not in the union demo, it was in the "Cuddly Demoes" by TCB (The Carebears).
