it's 10 years since the first Evoke party took off in 1997. This makes Evoke one of the oldest European demoparties still alive and kicking

In "24", season 2, when the plane with Jack Bauer and Nina Myers crashes, you can clearly hear the specific noise of Doom doors opening and closing. WTF ?!

WTF! Also, there is a very characteristic sound I know from Doom, which appears in Doom2 at the end level with the Goat/Romero Head. Just after the reverse Romero speed is spoken, the skull head is released and a sweeeeping sound is there. That sound has appeared in several movies and even commercials. I am wondering what it's origin is. Maybe I'd post something in Doomworld forums..

I just deleted my Optimus Greek Army Karate Dance video on Youtube (among with two more videos for other reasons) because I was fed up of the comments being stupid fights between proud greeks and turks. Eat that suckers!!! Delete in nanoseconds..

Just so you know.

Though I have always a strange bad feeling in my stomach when deleting something that took long with a click in nanoseconds. Because there is a decision in your head which can change every time. If the time needed to destroy something you have made completely is nanoseconds, there could be a single nanosecond you feel it's right and delete the shit. But if the destruction process took a day or so, even if you felt it was right for an hour you'd have enough time to change your decision before it's complete. The nanosecond delete on the internet gives me some kind of anxiety/fear/bad feeling that I can do something as I did in the past when I got mad. But at least for this now it was a more neutral decision. I don't care any more about that stupid video of me in the army, I hated the comments even if at the beginning I just didn't bothered and I also persuaded myself to not care about the big ammount of views/comments this video had received. I feel strange now, that little fear, that maybe it was instant decision and I will have regret it tomorrow, but regret what? And having not my stupid army self there on youtube is maybe better for me. For a while it was fun but now maybe I enjoyed the possibility to give a blow to these stupid commenters (Ok, maybe I could have deleted the posts, but I prefered to wipe out the video from my memory). Whatever,.

Just so you know.

And a nanosecond is not THAT small, anyway. I mean, if you stick to quantum theory, a nanosecond is still billions times longer than the average framerate of the universe.

Just so you know.
