What IDEs/Editors are recommendable for C/C++ development in your point of view?

I don't code in Linux myself, but I know some people that do and they use KDevelop.

i always did my linux code with just emacs.. then again they were all very small projects, not more then a couple sourcecode files. that kdeveloper looks decent enough for the visual studio habitues..

for those who are already annoyed of kdevelop crashing and behaving weird all the time i suggest eclipse + cdt plugin

For editor I'll say Vi though I've never tried emacs, and for IDE I'll say anjuta.
eclipse/cdt/subclipse is good

emacs is not an editor, it is more like an operating system...
eclipse is really nice IMHO.
