386DX band?

category: general [glöplog]

It might be another irrelevant subject, but I 'd like to post here a crazy site I found. It is supposed to be a music band, performed by a 386 DX / 4Mb RAM / EGA / 40 Mb HD with synchronized text-to-speech and midi synthesis. Download the video in the upper right corner, it's kinda crazy that he lets a PC performing at the stage, displaying circle/line drawing (looking like simple gfx programms done in quickbasic or pascal ;) synchronized with the music and hearing such a funny voice synthesis! :)

Wondering if he is aware of the demoscene..

hehe, i'm the lucky owner of 386DX's cd 'the best of' and it fucking rocks :) The cd is bootable and has dos 6.22 and win3.11 on it, and you can play some songs life on your pc :)

The cd is also very uselful to annoy your neighbours :)

well, it's an audio cd, but the first track is 'cdrom' with the bootable bullshit, you do need a soundblaster 16 though, since he is using creative software (text to speech and such). I doubt if it is even legal for him to put that shit on the cd :)

you can order the cd from www.staalplaat.nl (atleast that's where i got it 2 years ago)
