sorry that we bruise your ego when we feel new talent from china deserves motivation to create more scene productions.

you are completly right, we should all vote rightously for prods that take more work instead of tiny sized intros from friends. like you did for 828 and not for follow the light for example.

thank you for your kind respect and great lesson of moral taught to all of us new and old active sceners alike. in soviet russia moral lessons teach you.

nothing is up, just wanted to state the notice of their hypocrisy here instead of the prod.

ps - pouet reeks of hypocrites, you could keep going for ages digging them up.

quisten: maybe it's in order the creation of a new thread titled hypocrit me beautiful

come on, we're all hypocrites. at least i'm sure i've contradicted myself aplenty. i simply don't remember. does it matter? like okkie said, bring some emotion in, instead.

There was a cool chinese demo posted somewhere at the scene.org forum. I don't know if anyone uploaded it to pouet.

Well...yeah, absolutely!

Better to encourage such prods than see Pouet fill up with crappy little intros with 1 routine, monochrome palettes and low resolution.

perhaps it's a political thing, fear of the chinese is a thing that nationalist media and politicians like to stir up in russia.

Pouet is a crazy circus. Who's your favourite clown?

Soon we'll see changes on pouet. I predict that some people will be banned, without explanations, for vote.

This is sad.

ham: i feel sad you think i would ever allow such things to occur under my watch.

ps: I feel sad because you like to feed the trolls.

Oh, come on! There are many ways to improve this site without need of censorship or argue with everybody.

Pouet needs a little bit or order, but no censorship and/or more rudeness.

Simply turn the actual plain BBS forum in a tree with categories and made (optional) that threads can be moderated (but only by people who start the thread).

A "Help" section with "Fix me beautifull", an "New stuff" section with "new kkapture beta version thread" a Coders Corner section with some esoteric discussions... etcetera.

Don't forget to left a place for threads about cats and buckets and everybody will be happy, even you and me.

If you start an anti-troll crusade and a holy war for the purity of the scene, then a troll army will eat our pouet database and forums. And that would be really sad.

Ham: do you really think a serious vote would cause a ban? Come on, man. ps is odd from time to time, and sometimes he thinks (and comments) when people's votes differ from his own, but banning due to a serious, but different vote would mean the death to Pouet. The users would lose interest and go elsewhere. I hope.
Nutman: Seems that you will accept without any objection the ban in case of a "not serious" vote. ;)
In other words, your use of the "serious vote" term, opposed to a "not serious" one, scares me.

And my prediction was only an extreme, exaggerated, example (who knows if it could be real one day).

ham: There will most likely always be the need for judgment every single case, but, as I tried to state in ps' thread, the judgment should not be left with admins, but with the users - ie. if 95% of all users think you should be banned, you will be banned.
dipswitch, you seriosly think that BiTL downvoted this intro because he fears of chinease? BiTL didn't knew about author's origin when he voted. I think it's not clear enough for non-russian people what he mean in commentory - he said it's unoriginal and boring. It is his oppinion, and nobody has right to think for him what's good and what's bad. Probably he would vote for it, if he'd new that it's from China, because China is friendly country for us for many years.
