Do you know some dark or sad demos? Like faded or search for hapiness? I feel preety weird today and I would like to enrich my collection with demos having to do with a faded meaning of life or any other sad feelings. Please, suggest some! Anything you think it fits or not..

Untamed by Fuel or Despair by Blackpawn, perhaps. Raw Confessions is the best. Barry the orange is very sad too, but it's an animation. DXM prods could be considered dark, sometimes they're so bad that they make you want to die.

I'd like to see demos with darkwave music. Maybe something like Blutengel. That'd be interesting.

reed, yes of course they are, the intro is a parody of heavy metal music ;-). You can also watch the intro without singing using -karaoke switch on the command line...

I have, but you're talking about a complete different genre, even in that case those lyrics are a very bad parody. Anyways, it seems like a very bad excuse to me, the intro just looks rather serious.

The demos you are looking for are Entropia and Unclean by Exmortis (General Probe 1997 and Gravity 1997 winners, respectively). These will perfectly fit your mood. Also watch Angeldust 2 by Chrome and Astroidea (Jumper 1997 winner).

But I'd go with Deemage;s choice of Black 2000 remix by FR! I watched it loads when my girlfriend left me and it felt like I was looking at my own mind.

And I thought I'd add that Black 2000 finally works once again since installing the latest official nvidia drivers. Haven't seen that demo from start to finish in about a year!
