Best of Breakpoint / The Gathering 2009 on Radio PARALAX

After the "Breakpoint 2009" demo party last weekend in Bingen, we're presenting you the best demos from C64, Amiga, PC and some other fancy plattforms on sunday, the 19th April starting already at 16:00 CET.
Furthermore there will be the top 3 demos from "The Gathering" which also take place at the same time in Hamar/Norway. Afterwards "SaphirJD" will present you 3 more hours with the best music of this event as well as some classic tunes; alltogether 7 hours of Breakpoint, Documentation and Demoscene total on videostream in our liveshow.
As usual you will need Winamp 5.x or VLC-Player for watching the stream which you can also find on our website.

you're confusing a lot of stuff in the show - you should really be a bit more well prepared - the intention and idea of the show is nice though :)

I want to thank you very much for the huge interest and for wathcing the show and continue listening with Saphir. I know that the show wasn't perceft. Even the problems running the demos with WinUAE was very embarrassing for me and absolutely not planned. I test every demo carefully and it worked very well.
Sure, I also could have played every demo as video, same which you can do here or on YouTube but I like to also show that this demos are also running from real machines or a good emulator.
Sure, no emulator can replace a real machine but I think with an 68030 machine I have most stuff will be slow down much more.
Also I want to apologize for some wrong informations during the show like the Pouet webadress (it's naturally NET and not ORG) and some demos which I couldn't play due to lack of time of (as in one case) Windows Vista.
Some technical informations what I'm using for the show:
Hardware:
Pentium Dual Core with 3Ghz.
2GB RAM
ATI Radeon X1800XT (which din't allow me to play all the 4K and many 64K demos)
TFT screen with 1028*1024 resolution, I hope getting a dual screen soon
3 seperate hard drives
Yamaha MG12/4 external mixer
Bahringer Virtualizer Pro
Behringer Composer Pro-XL (not in use during the last show)
Software:
Winamp (with several plugins)
WebcamMax 4.2.5.0
Some extra players for special formats
Cool Edit 2.1 (for recuts, offering as download)
NSV-Tools 0.2 (Streaming with VP 6.2 and AAC+ Codec)
Emulators:
WinUAE 1.5.3
YAPE 2.1

yeah - idea was really cool :D - and it's always fun to "re-watch" the stuff you saw in the compos :)
