Demo or Die DVD vol. 6?

category: general [glöplog]
Any word out there if a Volume 6 of the Demo or Die DVDs is in the works? I recently found out about them and downloaded all five volumes:

If there is a next volume in the works for the 2007 demos I have a suggestion to make. If possible make two audio tracks for the demos: One containing the demo soundtrack and one containing the live party atmosphere when the demo was shown first. "Debris" for example has a live atmosphere of a rock concert with the crowd going totally wild.

That would be great :P
But I'm almost sure there isn't a recording of most demos.

A couple of weeks ago, i tried out demo or die volume 1 on my new 40inch tv. Must say that i didn't know what to expect but i was blown away with the quality of the captures.

The only problem i'm having: how on earth am i going to download the other volumes with only 12gb download from my isp :o(

But very nice collection! Looking forward more!

Okay, I sent an email with the live track of Debris to the address above. Let's see if it can be added to the DVD.

Phone up your ISP and tell them to go and fuck themselves sideways for selling you such a restrictive Acceptable Usage Policy. It won't solve your problem, but you might feel a bit better.

Demo or die <3
As modern demos are getting more and more demanding hardwarewise there seems to be quite a demand for continuation of Demo or Die or alternatively a brand new DVD-series.
bartman: fantastic, keep up the great work :)

Demo or Die has been on a break for quite a while, so who is the brave one to start a new series?
Blu-ray this time please.

Not only the Demo or Die series has died, the Scene.Org-Awards-Promo-DVDs are also not produced anymore. :(

Don't worry, I just got myself a brand new Core i7 box after breakpoint and am currently working on Demo or Die Vol. 6 and also on a new Demo or Die FullHD(1080i) series. It's quite time consuming trying out all the different possibilities for HD material (720p, 1080i, AVCHD, BDAV, etc.) and having Adobe Encore crashing on you every 5 minutes doesn't especially help :)
Btw, I think the live soundtracks are an awesome idea, so I'm really interested in getting more for popular productions (Stargazer, Elevated, Rupture, etc.)
