As state of the art as it gets (MUST see - and if i say MUST, you better should!)

-I think i must make it clear. There are a few non-CG elements in the shortfilm: photographer (shot on greenscreen), pigeons, timelapsed growing flowers, flying airplane and sky backgrounds.

Well, it's bloody nice anyway! :D

Wade, even if it wasn't CG at all i'd still love it. I'm absolutely in for architecture, photography and these things. It is a very pleasant and calm experience to watch this thing. The overall achievement is the experience itself.

I agree, it's a beautiful piece of work regardless, but the CG just adds a level of technical appreciation to it.

These comments are hilarious, more please!

Can some other scener say how it sucks/is easy to do and their demos are much more advanced/could be more advanced?

Haven't seen it yet (will do soon, downloading the video, my internet is slow) but I always have a great laugh on the typical scene response to art from outside (nah, it's shite, kitsch, the scene does it better, etc).

nytrik: I'm glad you didn't touch yourself while watching it.

on a completely unrelated note - ronny - could you be bothered to dig into your old crates and make another delightful disco mix one of these days?

Speed_Oma, that has been on my plate for quite a while now and it will surely happen! I just can't say exactly when. Asap - promise!

Confused: i believe that was left as an exercise for the viewer to freely extrapolate. not everyone's cup of tea though.

Loved it! It's the second part with the outdoor scenes that is so beautiful. It was long but I watched till the end.

Jayzuz, I was impressed. I started watching and was completely ignorant that it was CGI, I was just thinking how pretty it all was, very demo-sceney.. then gradually you start to think - oh, hes done that bit with CGI, nice.. and now you're telling me its ALL cgi?!

Fek. Thats good.

This would be awesome in 3D. I would be really stunned, had I not seen Avatar first. Now it looks like old technology to me.

Calexico: you'll be sooo disappointed the next time you watch a demo :(

I like 50% of it (the visuals).

amazing skills of course. i don't really see the point though, why not just film a camera? then again, i guess its the same point as why we do demos.

i loved the architecture in it, too bad it wasn't original. i love good architecture, especially when it doesn't actually exist. (hi pixtur!)

Alex Roman's biggest error is that his roots aren't to be found in the demoscene :P
