Oh, i found the cellphone in a place where it doesnt really belong! (Haha) Oh boy. I'm sorry for causing trouble with this.

First, thank you scamp for rescuing Easter after Mekka/Symposium!

I'd like to thank the guy who lent me his monitor, because i forgot mine!

I'd like to thank the french CPC guys for being there! You were awesome! Do the CPC "Meetings" now become portable to any party? :)

Big thanks to the netowrk crew for so few things to complain this time!

Big thanks also to the people who brought up the sweets!

Greets and respect to:

Topi, with his nice T-Shirt stand. I'd really like to visit Geek Camp again, but my financial status says no for the next 2 years. :(

Jens Schönfeld, who provides everyone information about his stuff and doesnt lose his mood about it!

Cosowi: Please, take a break from your magazines and do some music in the future! :)

The organizing team who always cleans up after the mess.

And to sall the people who remember me and greet me everytime, even if i dont recognize them in the first place. :)

I felt like a 5-year-old whose pet turtle just died when I left the Breakpoint for the last time.

Don't know why though, I had a blast and feel I'm genuinely privileged to have been a part of something so beautiful as this party.

A million thanks to the organizers for making it happen!

What a rip-off: Weather today: Sunny all day, 18°C. Spring started just 2 days too late...

Anyway, we are mostly finished cleaning up the mess now.

talking about the mess, yep, i found quite disrespectful the way some sceners are considering the ground outside as well as inside as a giant trashcan... Considering the amount of work to cleanup things... In some way, I understand the "no tomorrow" slogan...

This was one mother fucking amazing Breakpoint!

The Ultrasound concert featuring kb as Rick Astley did it for me.

That nasty Fairlight/CNCD demo was too perfect - unfuckingbelievable!

See you all next year!

Thanks for the great releases once again from BP. I wasn't there personally but saw some of the party via BPTV, including Meaty's infamous quiz, which was absolutely hilarious !

It proved interesting testing out the bigscreen today at work in the lecture theatre .... before one lecture took place this morning we had shown 'Wir Sind Einstein' to the students who'd arrived early to the lecture and it was rather popular, so much so that they (and their lecturer) asked to see it again at the end. The lecture itself was about graphics and mathematical stuffs.

I liked the Vectrex demo as well - excellent stuff :)

is it possible to know how many people voted?

@lx: The amount of trash is normal and expected. And with >50% more visitors, the amount of trash hasn't increased. I'm fine with that.

The Kevin Mack video message can be downloaded here in full quality (200mb):
ftp://ftp.untergrund.net/users/brainstorm/Production/demoscene_intro.mpg

A Youtube link will follow shortly. Not sure if it should be added to Pouet as a prod (anim?). I'll let the admins decide. :)

For those who didn't hear kb's introductory announcement during the party: Kevin Mack is an Academy Award winning visual effects supervisor who did the vfx for movies like Fight Club, 5th Element, Ghost Rider, Vanilla Sky, What Dreams May Come, Speed Racer, the recent Percy Jackson, and many more. And he loves demos.

This video message was meant as a little surprise to you Scamp as a thank you for all your efforts over the years. Thanks kb for having kept the surprise under wraps. ;-)
