No more volcano! \o/ Hmm, can I buy cherry beer (kriek) at party place or do I have to get my own? :o I do doubt that an ordinary Dutch supermarket would sell apple cider... but you never know!

The only beer we'll sell is Grolsch!

Jenni: Apple cider is not that popular in the Netherlands. However, there is one supermarket franchise (Albert Heijn) that sells Strongbow and Savanna cider.

I was in a Dutch Lidl an hour or two ago, they have some French Cider in their wine section. 1,70 for a liter, iirc

Is there any chance that wine could be added to the alcohol on offer at a decent price per glass ?

That would help for those of us who don't drink beer ....

I can see that some people here need an introduction to proper English cider (the sort that comes from Somerset, as opposed to the chemical stuff that hoodies drink in bus shelters). Unfortunately I think all the UK people coming to Outline are coming from the wrong side of England to get hold of the *really* good stuff, but I guess I can bring a couple of bottles of Old Rosie or whatever the supermarket has...

gasman: that would be nice! despite having lived in the uk for 4 years, I don't think I ever had cider over there.

@gasman: Ooh! Almost about any English cider (Thatchers, Gaymers, Maguire's, Weston's, Strongbow, Scrumpy Jack etc) is good as long as it's a) dry, b) apple (I guess that's what 'real' cider should be anyways). I've probably tried every available UK apple cider in Finland at least once - Weston's Vintage still is the best. With 8.2% of alcohol, it also gets you properly drunk after 4 bottles or so...

I taught myself to drink the cherry beer in Amsterdam when only few bars apparently sold drinkable cider (Magners, Strongbow) so I can survive, but if you guys can bring some of the good stuff over, I'll be eternally grateful :D

Your truly,

The Cider Lover

Rich, best solution all round is to bring a box ;-)

Anyway, I like cold Grolsch in moderation :-)

Gasman, what makes you think that those bottles are going to remain unconsumed from the car trip over to the party, bwahahahah!

You forget Jillz, the equivalent of sweet filtered urine that they still try to pawn off to women (and gay men, for some off reason). But yeah, that's "inspired" by Cider at best.

Gasman: If you can smuggle a box of old scrumpy in your underpants, I will be a very happy man :)

The pre-order period is over, please buy your tickets at the door from now on! The last remaining beds will be served to those coming first.

Some statistics:
102 tickets sold sofar for 2010 (2009 record after the party was 104)
141 registrations on our site

So we're looking at options to rent extra tables, fully expecting it to be the best attended Outline so far with a serious margin!
