He's even ripped off some modules (including one of my own) in this BLUBB 3D NDS homebrew game. Retitled, and erased all sampletexts and claimed it as his own.

I don't think going all postal on him personally is a very good idea.

Even there is on the LinkedIn Page that he has won once in a game competition.. I'm wondering on what event that was.

Snip from the linkedIn page:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Halit Bal’s Honors:
Won a couple times (also once first place) at game coding competitions. (NeoFlash).

I mean, you're not even sure if it is actually that guy (who is clearly a different guy than that guy in the first foto)

the linkedin page links to his personal site so it's at least partly sourced - still, posting details, i mean ehh...

Okkie: This way it's obvious that's this is not just some kind of joke and it's a serious business, he's even making money out of this. While he's got a job and he's a student at the Hoge School Amsterdam, so why the need for proving yourself something you're not?
That's not a fair play is it?

Yeah, but you are not sure if it is *actually* that dude and posting personal details is really, really icky since that can end in some serious trouble.

HE even stole music for his NDS games including a crappy module of mine. Lame.

Also we can be sure it IS that dude on linkedin, because:

- he links www.htheb.com from the linkedin profile
- his identical album art is located on www.htheb.com about page, as is on itunes/spotify and last.fm

his about page stipulates he's in the Netherlands, so is the linkedin profile. So many connections must be more than coincidence, especially the earlier points ;)
