What has kept me busy since Breakpoint 2010: A huge white-collar crime

category: offtopic [glöplog]
Yeah, it's offtopic, but still might interest some:

Since Breakpoint 2010 one thing has kept me really busy, and this is the main reason there wasn't much from me done inside the scene. A bunch of criminals tried to take over my company Viprinet. This ended up in some gangsters actually being close to receiving 70 Million Euros from Hewlett-Packard for selling my company to those, without even owning a single share. It's a pretty amazing (or shocking) story, and it is still ongoing.

Feel invited to link to / forward this story, we sceners at Viprinet here can really use some external support.

I read it through and it sounds surreal, like a John Grisham novel. I hope things will work out for you guys.

John Grisham was the first thing I thought of too. It's an amazing plot. If they spent the same amount of brain cells on improving their wind turbines instead of fraud, they too would have been a great company.

Boy, this sounds like a Hollywood plot mixed of Michael Clayton, The Insider and Wallstreet placed in the cosy quiet Bingen.

Typical. Whenever there are some folks trying to make a decent living there sure as hell will be some
"White Shoe Boys" who try to scam them out of their business for a quick buck.

Knowing that you can get quite hot-tempered, when push comes to shove, it surprises me that you didn't
tackle one of this black suited crooks in a moment of rage.

the "wind power" thing in Germany is issue of immense fraud - i.e. skimming govt. subsidies - even by the big corporations.

Anyways, hang in there and "knock 'em dead" ... legal-wise of course.

IF they make a movie... will it feature Breakpoint?

Good luck with that. I hope the justice system works.

"After the proceedings, ICAN told CASSI that they can present us with orders in the 1000s of units for the German Department of Criminal Investigation"

Thanks everyone.

Gargaj: Indeed I guess we are pretty good at fighting back. However, this is more a thing of strategical work, not a matter of being hot-tempered ;)

ps: Not at all related.

jac!: Yeah, oh the irony ;)

What the fuck, I just finished reading the whole site, I'm speechless, all these fuckers deserve no less than ending up in jail until the end of their life.

The best of luck to you and all the Viprinet people, crush them, it's all they deserve. I'm linking the whole story on my website.
