hi everyone - as some of you might know, I am a researcher as well as organizing this here fine event, and trolling pouet. I research HCI, interaction design and so on.
At our research lab, CAVI, we have created an interactive table where you use tangible interaction (a set of cubes) for creating music by combining short samples with different effects.
As part of our research we'd like to test this with some of the most esteemed musicians I know - the demosceners. It takes place near the TRSAC party place, right after the deadlines on Sunday - so circa 14:00. I estimate it will take roughly an hour or two, after which we get back to the party place after you have received a sandwich for helping us out, on top of my eternal gratitude.
If you are interested join the event below - we only have room for 3 participants at the more formal tests, but if more signs up we'll do a tour of the research lab as well enable the rest of you to play with the interactive music table too :)
